‘After initially creating a powerful foundation – for AI with our central Vivendi AI gateway and for IT with the native integration of access services, card terminals and KIM – the technologies are now finding their way into specialist processes,’ says Melanie Koberstein, Head of Marketing at Connext Communication GmbH. In concrete terms, this means AI support for nursing, service and route planning, wound documentation, absence management, analyses/evaluations and, of course, further development of technologies that have been in use for some time, such as voice-controlled nursing documentation. ‘TI focuses on EPA, medication processes, transfer management and simplified access via the TI gateway,’ says Melanie Koberstein.
The hype is subsiding somewhat
Werner Hauser, CEO of euregon AG, also confirms the trend: ‘We are receiving an increasing number of enquiries about the integration of AI into our product portfolio. However, these are mostly rather general enquiries that do not distinguish between genuine AI, algorithms, voice input, voice conversion and voice control.’ At the same time, he notes that the hype triggered by ‘openAI’ has subsided somewhat in the meantime.
Further trend requests relate to the topic of TI and its integration into the euregon software Snap, as well as the necessary digital processes required for TI connection. "We are also seeing a steady increase in demand for cloud solutions. In addition, we are already receiving the first enquiries about when our new software solution “.snap stationary” can be expected," says Hauser.
Myneva is also convinced: "It is no longer just about classic software solutions, but about intelligent systems that automate processes, reduce administrative tasks and free up valuable time for actual care. "We are also seeing growing demand for networked solutions that facilitate exchange between different players in the health and social services sector," says CEO Dieter Weißhaar. According to Weißhaar, the care industry is facing growing challenges, particularly in the areas of administration and communication.
