Zeitpolster is a care and mutual support network. Those who help others today receive time credits that can be redeemed for care and support in old age. In this way, Zeitpolster combines the potential of voluntary engagement with personal provision for future care needs.

Zeitpolster was launched in Austria in 2018 and is now active in seven of the country’s nine federal states, with more than 2,000 volunteers who have accumulated over 120,000 hours of time credits. Zeitpolster has received several international awards and recognitions. Zeitpolster is now launching in Germany and is seeking suitable funding and implementation partners as well as advocates for the start-up phase.
