What was it about?

ALTENPFLEGE, in cooperation with the Edgar and Nina Kummerfeldt Foundation, was looking for the best ideas in these three categories:

  • Improving quality of life: projects that sustainably improve the lives of people in need of care.
  • Creating new images of old age: Approaches that positively change society's image of old age.
  • Enabling a self-determined life: Networks that support senior citizens in their neighbourhoods.

The jury is made up of high-calibre representatives from the care sector.
